OBJECTIVE DISCUSSION:
Let's start our lesson today. Are you ready?
Today we are going to talk about self introduction, how to ask a question to someone new and how to answer that question. I know it might be nervous to talk to someone new in different language. But dont worry, we are going to practice very hard si you can asking ans answer question to someone new in English. And you will be learning about seven things, greetings, asking some name, hobbies, family, major/grade and closing statement.
There will be speaking test at the end of our lesson. What are the catagories again?

Lets talk about each one by looking at page 140.
PRESENTING INFORMATION

Yes, of course.
Does anyone here know eveyone else name?
Not everyone.
Okay
When we meet someone new. The first thing that we can say is by greeting them.
In bahasa indonesia, we usually greet someone by saying Assalamualaikum, which have the meanjng peace be upon you.
And the others will answer waalaikumsalam.
But how about English?
What will you say to greet someone in English?
Yes, by saying hello.

After you greet someone, you can say your name first then ask their name?
I am zulfa. This is to introduce your name.
What will you say to ask their name in Bahasa Indonesia and sunda?
Saha namina? Siapa namamu?
How to ask someone's name in english?
What is your name?
Great.
So you can say, Hello, I am zulfa. what is your name?
Then what will you say when someone ask this question??
Yes, you can greet ans say your name
Hello, my name is ani. Or I am ani.
Then you can say
Nice to meet you, ani.
Say someone name to make a good connetion to someone new.
Then you can find something in common to create good conmection.
You can ask some other question Ask hobies, family, news, sport, and some other details.(kasih hambar di board)
If you want to ask to others the smae question, you can say "and you?" How about you?
For exmple: what is your name?
I am zulfa. And you?
If the other person idea or statement have the same ideas or statement with you you can say. "Me too" " same here"
A: Do you have any hobbies?
B:Yes, I have
A:What is your hobbies?
B:I really like playing football. And you?
A:Great, mee too. What is your favourite football team?
B: It is Persib
A: Do you have any brothers or sisters?
B: yes, I have one brother and I have one sister. And you?
A: yes i have only one sister. what is your sister name?
B: She is Gina

B : my major is office administration./ I am majoring in office administration.

What is the benefit of this conversation? what is the benefit of this introsuction. When you have a succes small talks or intriduction and create connection with other and find the similarities with others will open opportunitis for you to have a good job of course.
MODELING:
Teacher do a role play of dialog self introduction and student watch and listen to the teacher
Students watch and listen two video of self introduction
Students compare the difference and somilarities among two videos.
GUIDED PRACTICE and LESS GUIDED PRACTICR
Siswa meniru guru mengucapkan kalimat perkenalan. (Kalo dalam mbuat text, guru memberikan satu kalimat deskriptice di awal dan murid menyelesaikan bersama hingga akhir)

1.)Bersama teman sekelas melakukan role play asking and answering question name(jadi hanya sedikit lahitann nya karena kan less guided practice. Diberi juga kertas quiz yang awal dipakai.
2.)Siswa bersama teman membuat lingkaran dan menanyakam pertanyaan setelah melihat gambar, ditengah tengah ada dengan melihat gambar dan pertanyaan yang disediakan olej guru (fishbowl)
INDEPENDENT PRACTICE
Siswa menjawab pertanyaan speaking secara online di online worksheet dan dikirmkan ke guru ( gunakan ww.vocaroom.com untuk merekam suara dan link rekaman suara nya harus dikirim ke format)

We have already study about self introcution in the form of dialog. And I already give you an example of the dialog. Then you are already practice how to say every sentence. Now, You have to work in pairs and create a dialog asking name, asking class, major, hobby and the last closing statement.
